I am sending you pictures of the 'Don't Tread on Me" Jack that I flew on the USS Constitution on Oct. 21, 2005 on her 208th birthday. Also shown is the certificate proclaiming the flying of the Jack was done in memory of the men of IUWG-1 that paid the ultimate price in Vietnam. Ray Selvig gave me the Jack after he had had it flown over the Navy Memorial.

PS: I was invited on board when the 'Old Man' heard what it was about and introduced me to the crew with some fine words about Navy History and how Myself and the men of IUWG-1 were all part of what the Navy is about. He talked of our guys and their sacrifices that make Navy History. The youngest and oldest cut the birthday cake with the cutlass that belonged to the first skipper when she was launched Oct. 21, 1797. Then they broke out the grog and did the hip hip hooray thing, got to me got misty it was done for our guys.
